Playground Pioneers
What a beautiful day for outdoor fun! Our little explorers are having a blast on the seesaw, enhancing their physical development and coordination. With the climbing frame and slide in the background, they’re discovering new challenges and expressing their creativity through active play. Every moment outside is a chance for growth and learning!
Building big dreams with blocks!
Here, our little architects are stacking, balancing, and creating in a world of imagination. Together, we joined forces to construct the biggest tower yet, enhancing our teamwork and collaboration. This hands-on activity strengthens fine motor skills and coordination while developing communication and social skills as we share ideas. We’re also exploring concepts of shapes and spatial awareness, all while expressing our creativity!

Scientists at work
Our young scientists dove into a colorful exploration with a red cabbage experiment! Using water and white vinegar, they discovered the magic of natural pH indicators. Children had the choice to cut or chop the cabbage with scissors or a safe knife, fostering independence and fine motor skills. As they worked together, they communicated their ideas and observations, enhancing their social and language development. This hands-on activity also sparked curiosity about colors and chemical reactions, making science both fun and engaging! Let’s keep experimenting

Cultural learning
At Roe Green Nursery, we have a wonderful and diverse group of children as well as staff. We believe it's important to teach the kids about other cultures to ensure they grow up to be kind caring individuals who are open to new ideas and traditions whilst sharing their own.
